To proclaim Jesus to the world, SMSM participate in evangelization, catechesis, religious and spiritual formation, education, and pastoral ministries.

Smsm work beyond the boundries of the Catholic Church with other Christians in the promotion of unity, and with peoples of other religions to promote hospitality, dialogue, assistance.

Among other peoples and in our own country, in respect and dialogue we try to be bonds of communion between peoples, races, and cultures, and witnesses to universal love.
